Vaccine Preventable Illness: Hepatitis B
Hep B is spread through blood, semen and other body fluids from one infected person to another. This virus causes a liver infection that can be short-term or lead to chronic issues.
Hep B vaccines are given starting a birth and recommended for all individuals.
The Bollinger County Health Center offers Hepatitis B Vaccines for children, adolescents and adults.
