2021 has 3.3% of Iron County residents unemployed

Iron County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 127 people out of the 9,606 living in Iron County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Iron County has decreased compared to the 5.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Iron County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.5%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
