Over the past four years, global tensions have increased, attributed by some to the policies of the Biden administration. Conflicts have erupted in Europe and the Middle East, while China is reportedly expanding its military influence. Amid these challenges, President-elect Donald Trump is preparing to implement a "peace through strength" strategy aimed at bolstering America's position internationally.

During Trump's first term, his administration achieved several foreign policy successes. These included persuading NATO allies to boost defense spending and brokering the Abraham Accords, which enhanced relations between Israel and nations like the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. The U.S. Embassy was also relocated to Jerusalem under his leadership.

Although not yet inaugurated for his second term, Trump has begun assembling a team to support his agenda. Senator Marco Rubio has been nominated as Secretary of State. Rubio's background as a first-generation American with Cuban heritage provides him with personal insights into combating communist regimes.

Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has been chosen as Director of National Intelligence. Gabbard's military service and commitment to restoring trust in intelligence services align with Trump's objectives.

Mike Huckabee, former Governor of Arkansas, will serve as U.S. Ambassador to Israel. Known for his strong ties with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Huckabee is expected to strengthen U.S.-Israel relations amidst rising antisemitism.

Elise Stefanik, a New York Congresswoman, has been appointed as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (UN). Stefanik has actively opposed antisemitism on college campuses and criticized funding for certain UN agencies linked to attacks against Israel.

Trump's selections reflect an intention to pursue an America First approach on the world stage.
