Skin cancer remains the most common form of cancer in the United States, impacting millions annually. Statistics indicate that one in five Americans will face skin cancer in their lifetime.

In collaboration with the American Academy of Dermatology’s SPOT me screening program, Saint Francis Healthcare System will conduct complimentary skin cancer screenings. This initiative is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, from 8 am to noon. The screenings will take place at Cape Radiation Oncology, at Entrance 6 of the Saint Francis Medical Center.

The screenings will be performed by healthcare professionals from Advanced Dermatology of Southeast Missouri, including Richard Limbert, DO; Amy Willingham, PA; and Jessica Miller, NP. Patients previously seen at Advanced Dermatology within the last three years should continue their care through the office, not via the screening event.

Appointments are necessary for the screening. Individuals can schedule by calling 573-331-5784.
