Parenting preparation classes offered by SGCMH Women’s Health and Childbirth Center

SGCMH Women’s Health and Childbirth Center is organizing parenting preparation classes to assist new parents with pregnancy and the early days of a newborn's life. The sessions are scheduled for Wednesday, August 6, and Wednesday, November 5.

The August session will cover topics such as labor positions, spinning babies, breathing techniques, bathing baby, and breast pump help. The November session will address common procedures during labor/delivery, managing holiday stress, getting ready for baby, newborn immunizations, and common baby concerns like illness.

Classes start at 6 p.m. in the SGCMH Education Conference Room. Interested participants can register by calling 573.883.7791 or emailing cgegg@sgcmh.org.
