First State Community Bank, in collaboration with the Saint Francis Foundation and Saint Francis Clinic Farmington, will host a free Back-to-School Bash aimed at supporting local families with young children. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Saint Francis Clinic Farmington on 515 Maple Valley Drive in Farmington, Missouri.

Attendees can expect complimentary food including hot dogs, chips, and soda. The event will also feature games, prizes, storytelling sessions, and activities for children. Families may receive free school supplies, books, and diapers while supplies last. Pediatric providers from the clinic will be available to meet families during the event.

The initiative aligns with First State Community Bank’s ongoing efforts to assist children and families in the area. The bank recently supported the launch of the Reach Out and Read program at Saint Francis Clinic Farmington through a donation made in partnership with the Saint Francis Foundation. This program distributes age-appropriate books to children during well-child visits from six months to five years old to foster early literacy skills and family engagement.

“We are proud to partner with Saint Francis Foundation to support education, wellness, and literacy for children in our community,” said John Denker, Vice Chairman of First State Community Bank.
