U.S. Representative Jason Smith from Missouri has expressed his support following the confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard as the Director of National Intelligence. The U.S. Senate confirmed Gabbard, an Army Reserve veteran and former member of the U.S. House of Representatives, to this key intelligence position.

Smith released a statement highlighting Gabbard's extensive service record and her dedication to the nation. He stated, "I congratulate my good friend and former colleague, Tulsi Gabbard, on her confirmation as the next U.S. Director of National Intelligence." He further emphasized her commitment by saying, "Tulsi has devoted her life to serving her country."

Smith also noted Gabbard's military background and public service experience at various levels of government as exemplary qualities that she brings to her new role. As she steps into this leadership role within the Intelligence Community, Smith is optimistic about Gabbard's impact.
