President-elect Donald Trump is preparing to take office with a strong focus on border security, promising immediate action to address what he describes as the worst border crisis in American history. His administration plans to prioritize a mass deportation operation targeting illegal immigrants with criminal records.

According to recent statements, there are concerns about individuals in the U.S. with serious criminal convictions, including 13,099 for homicide, 56,533 for drug-related offenses, and 15,811 for sexual assault. Additionally, President-elect Trump aims to target those with ties to terror groups. Reports indicate that over 390 individuals on the terror watchlist were intercepted crossing the southern border under the Biden administration.

Trump's team includes South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem as his nominee for Secretary of Homeland Security and Tom Homan as Border Czar. Noem has been recognized for her proactive stance on border issues and is seen as a key figure in executing Trump's border agenda. Homan brings decades of experience from his previous role at Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The incoming administration criticizes current policies under President Biden and pledges significant changes once Trump assumes office on January 20.
