Rep. Jason Smith, who represents Missouri’s 8th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets highlighting his recent engagements at the Missouri State Fair and policy discussions with agricultural groups.

The following day, Smith described his conversation with representatives of the Missouri Dairy Association: "At the Missouri State Fair, I had the opportunity to speak with representatives of the Missouri Dairy Association. Smith has served in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Jo Ann Emerson and previously served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2005 to 2013. He was born in St Louis in 1980 and resides in Salem. Smith is an alumnus of the University of Missouri and holds a law degree from Oklahoma City University.
