Rep. Jason Smith, a U.S. Congressman representing Missouri’s 8th district since 2013, posted on his social media account on September 3, 2025, about economic policy and congressional oversight activities.

In a post dated September 3, 2025 at 14:08 UTC, Smith stated: "The revenues and investments brought in by President Trump’s Liberation Day tariffs will fuel American growth.

Combined with the historic tax relief passed in The One, Big, Beautiful Bill and President Trump’s deregulatory agenda, we will unleash an economic Golden Age to be".

Later that day, at 16:30 UTC, Smith highlighted a letter sent alongside Rep. David to Network for Hope. He wrote: "Today, alongside @RepDavid, I sent a letter to Network for Hope, a Kentucky-based tax-exempt Organ Procurement Organization, demanding documents and records related to allegations of improper Medicare billing, financial conflicts of interest, and unsafe practices.
